BC Maritime Employers Association
The British Columbia Maritime Employers Association (the Association)
is an unaccredited employers association currently consisting of
71 member companies. The primary purpose of the Association is to
provide sound labour relations advice to waterfront employers in
British Columbia.
British Columbia Chamber of Shipping
The Chamber of Shipping has proudly served the international shipping
industry community in British Columbia since 1923. The Chamber is
a forum for the gathering, developing and disseminating of information,

trade, commerce, or education are handled by the Chamber and its

MISNA is a coalition of non-profit maritime information service
organizations dedicated to providing information, communications
and services to ensure safe, secure, efficient and environmentally-sound

The VMAA has as its mandate to establish and maintain standards
of education, qualification and professional conduct for maritime
arbitrators and to establish procedural rules to govern the conduct

Fraser River Port Authority
Fraser River Port is a fully integrated port with global transportation
networks, located at the mouth of the Fraser River near Vancouver,
British Columbia.
Halifax Port Authority
Located on the Great Circle route at 44o38' N 63o33' W, the Port
of Halifax (Nova Scotia) is the only port on the east coast of North
America capable of handling fully laden post-Panamax vessels.
Montreal Port Authority
Linked to more than 100 countries around the world by many reputable
shipping lines, the Port of Montreal is located on one of the largest
navigable waterways in the world - the majestic St. Lawrence River

Nanaimo Port Authority
The Nanaimo Port Authority has the mandate to administer, control
and manage the harbour, waters and foreshore of the Georgia Strait
in an area adjacent to Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.

Toronto Port Authority
The Toronto Port Authority is a Canada Port Authority and part of
a national ports system. The new Toronto Port Authority, which replaced
the Toronto Harbour Commissioners, was established on June 8, 1999
under the Canada Marine Act, and has a seven-member Board of Directors.
Vancouver Port Authority
The Port of Vancouver has one of the world's finest natural, deep-water
harbours. It covers 233 km of coastline, from Roberts Bank at the
US-Canada border, along the south shore of Burrard Inlet, up Indian
Arm and the north shore of Burrard Inlet.
The Vancouver Port Authority controls 6,000 hectares of water and
460 hectares of land, most of which is largely occupied by cargo
terminals. Various industries, the province and municipalities own
additional land.
